Historic Speech: Barack Obama Accepts Presidential Nomination and Raises The Bar

In a historic ceremony at the 2008 Democratic Conventiuon in Denver, Colorado, Barack Obama accepted his nomination as the Democratic nominee for the 2008 Presidential election. It was the first time an African-America will be nominated as the Presidential candidate of a major political party in America. Coming at the 45th anniversary of the famous “I have a Dream” speech by The Reverend Martin Luther King, the speech was as historic as it was pivotal in the Illinois Senator’s drive towards becoming the first Black President of America.   1. One of the best speeches ever heard at the Democratic National Convention. In this, the 21st century we need change that Barack Obama speaks about in his speech. Let’s all get together and vote in a leader with knowledge, wisdom, and great leadership ability.
