“The Hope Rises Again and The Dream Lives On” – Ted Kennedy, DNC, 2008

Senator Edward M. Kennedy braves the odds against his cancer treatment to speak at the United States 2008 Democratic National Convention,  Day 1. Characteristically, Ted Kennedy stresses the need for fairness and equality,  amongst all, but this time he adds that “a new hope is the cause of his life” and calls on Americans “to change America, to restore its future, to rise to our best ideals…”
